Commercial cleaners have totes and racks (or maybe just a cleaning bucket) with handy-sized solutions, various towels, brushes, sponges, unused plastic bags, and tools within arm’s reach of their cleaning area. Your bigger tools (like the mop, broom, and vacuum cleaner) can be parked at the doorway. This will save you a lot of time as well.
While you might not relish the idea of bringing along various cleaning bottles around the house, you may want to consider investing in multi-purpose cleaners (light multi-surface cleaners for glass and other surfaces, heavy duty degreasing solutions, tile cleaner, powdered abrasive cleansers) . They wouldn’t just save you space in your cleaning tote, but may be able to save you money as well.
